Reincarnation

reincarnation1.jpg - 23.55 KTo be 'reincarnated' means to be reborn in a new body or a new form. The doctrine of reincarnation - that the human soul or the spirit of an animal or plant can, after death, enter another human or animal body - is a very ancient one, and can be found in the teachings of Buddhism, Taoism, Greek philosophy, Egyptian religion, Hinduism and Theosophy.

It is very frightening, the fact that the New Age Movement seems to have changed the thinking of a good many people in the world. Various groups espousing reincarnation are enjoying a resurgent interest in their teachings. These organizations include The association for Research and Enlightenment (Edgar Cayce's group), the Urantia Foundation, the Thesosophical Society, and the Unity School of Christianity. Their growing memberships are reflected in a recent study indicating that 60 percent of Americans consider reincarnation was a reasonable probability.
